When Studio Giachi was asked to create a ‘pop-up store’ for Marco Balderi, a Tuscan jewelry artist, the architects kept in consideration the artist’s own words which he uses to describe his beautiful pieces: ‘the imperfection which is found in the nature’. To enhance the artist’s raw style, Paolo Giachi chose to create contrast bringing in old industrial bolts to display the jewelry, as well as an antique industrial round table as a showcase for Balderi’s unique pieces. Whilst the wooden vintage vitrine creates warmth, the lighting was kept low in order to highlight the beautiful handcrafted jewelry.
